The Somontano boasts a great variety of landscapes that in just a few kilo metres can change from mountain areas to Mediterranean forests, from green thickets to semi-desert areas, from dark ravines to sunny riverbanks, from the hustle and bustle of the town to the peace and quiet of the village or the solitude of a shrine along the way. The Somontano is many worlds rolled into one, all of them within easy reach on a bicycle.
Nine signposted routes cover a large part of the region and range in difficulty (green, blue, red or black) depending on the terrain, the length of the route and their technical difficulty. All the routes are two-way and circular and many of them connect up with each other, allowing cyclists to venture on journeys of between 35 and 40 kilometres long.
